Features and technology

Engineered

for excellence

Every detail of the D-Series Electric is designed to deliver zero-emission performance without compromising the durability, safety, and passenger comfort the D-Series is known for.

Built for the Long Haul

The D-Series is built on a foundation of six longitudinal structural beams, a design engineered for strength, rigidity, and long-term reliability.

Six longitudinal structural beams

Core framework for a rigid, durable body with superior rollover protection
One-piece galvanized steel roof bows

Enhanced safety and roll-over protection throughout the structure
Aluminum side body panels

Longevity and low repair costs over the vehicle’s lifetime
Galvanized steel side impact barriers

Integrated seat rails for added structural protection in side collisions

Smoother. Quieter. More Comfortable.

The D-Series is engineered to absorb road vibration, reduce interior noise, and deliver a more comfortable ride for every passenger on every route.

Energy-absorbing body mounting blocks

Absorb road vibration and reduce noise transfer to the interior cabin
Fibreglass insulation throughout

Reduces noise, prevents condensation and corrosion
Completely sealed floor

Blocks dust, moisture, and exterior noise from entering the passenger compartment
Standard LED exterior lighting

Lower energy consumption and reduced maintenance requirements

See More. Board Faster.

The D-Series gives drivers the visibility and passenger access needed for safe, efficient operations, even in busy environments.
